Amazing Tech!!

Just spotted this... it's incredible...

This thing is supposed to be sustainable, carbon-neutral and relatively inexpensive...
I can't wait to see how this ends up; this could be a green-future dream come true :P

The tech behind it seems way over my head but from what I understood in the article, discs of a metal alloy are held between a compound of ceramic and a proprietary ink the creator developed... all this in a machine that takes in oxegen and (somehow!) without combustion converts the energy to electricity. Definitely a stroke of absolute genius!

Things always go awry!

Still trying to figure a space online where I can install and use php... getting there though I think!
Website for week 3's assignment is almost finished though... didn't turn out as bad as I thought it was (nothing spectacular but it works!).
I'll get a link to it up here when it's completed... stay tuned!

Starting off!

Well here is the first of my (hopefully) many blog posts. I decided to write it up here in blogger because I'm trying to wrap my head back around php and site-design so that I can put up a decent - functional - website that I'll be able to use as a portfolio of sorts and that I can add a blog tool to.

At the minute I'm doing some reading on WordPress, phpMyAdmin and just getting back into the swing of using Photoshop and the rest of the Adobe creative suite again.

-- It's been a while since I've bothered to dust off the web-developer hat, here's hoping it doesn't go too wrong!
